Canada Life enhances critical illness cover

Canada Life Group Insurance has announced that the Red Arc and Best Doctors support services will be available to all existing group critical illness members with immediate effect.

According to the firm, the aim of this unique combination of service is to give support to those diagnosed with a serious illness . If a member is diagnosed with a critical illness , Red Arc provides help and support for members and their family. A personal nurse adviser is provided for as long as is required to help the member and their immediate family cope with the practical and emotional effects of being diagnosed with a serious illness .

Best Doctors is available to all members and their immediate family if they are diagnosed with a serious condition and access to the Best Doctors service is not dependent upon a claim being made.

Paul Avis, sales and marketing director at Canada Life, said: "We are now pleased to be able to offer these additional services to our existing group critical illness customers. In the event of being diagnosed with a critical illness, both services deliver medical and emotional support at the time when they are needed the most."
