Best Doctors added to Scottish Widows protection policies

The Best Doctors service has been added to critical illness, life and income protection policies from Scottish Widows .

The addition of this service, which is an independent UK-wide list of leading medical specialists selected by their peers as being the best in their field, will enable individuals and their families to get the best medical opinions across a wide selection of conditions and illnesses at no extra cost.

Each case is assigned a dedicated case manager who is a qualified medical professional. The case manager gathers all the relevant medical information and sends it to an expert who evaluates and provides a full report covering diagnosis and all treatment options.
