Zurich rolls out protection microsite

Zurich has unveiled a microsite dedicated to protection. Zurich4protection.com aims to help an adviser provide a comprehensive and professional service to clients, whilst helping the industry try to bridge the protection gap, according to the provider.

It incorporates templates to enable advisers kick start an effective protection campaign, a new interactive sales kit, customer video case studies and tips on talking customers through the importance of protection. Also featured on the site is advice on handling difficult questions and calculators for 'running a family', 'life costs' and 'treats' to help show customers where cover is needed and how savings can be made to pay for it.

Peter Hamilton, protection management director says: "The start of a new financial year provides advisers with the perfect opportunity to meet with their clients and help them re-evaluate their financial and protection needs. It's important that advisers help their clients get their house in order to ensure they have adequate protection in place for themselves and their families, should the worst happen."
