Zurich UK Life has launched a new guide to help advisers explain the process of its protection plans from the application stage through to claim.
‘Here to help at every step' aims to help customers understand the underwriting process and the importance of disclosing accurate personal information from the outset and during the claims process to ensure the correct level of cover is provided and that claims are paid swiftly.
The guide answers a series of commonly asked questions and covers everything from the types of information that will be asked for during the application process to any additional medical information that may be required. Customers are also taken through the claims process, including explanations about how it will be handled, the information needed to progress a claim as well as its likely duration.
