American stars to speak at British Insurance Brokers' Association's conference

Two of the guest speakers at this year's British Insurance Brokers Association's (BIBA) conference and exhibition will be Ruby Wax and Erin Brockovich .

The American stars will address the insurance industry as keynote speakers at the conference, called 'Delivering Value', to be held in Manchester between 13 and 15 May. As businesses experience ever increasing financial pressures, Wax, a qualified psychotherapist and comedy actress, will explore the ability of how to get the best out of people. Erin Brockovich, who inspired an Oscar winning film and made her name as a champion of the underdog, will close the conference.

The aim of the industry debate is to look into the reality of broking in the 21st century, investigate the problems and opportunities facing brokers and identify what real value means and how to guarantee it. René Carayol, the business guru and TV presenter, will chair the session which will include video interviews from key players and responses from a hand picked group of delegates.
