Tesco Life Insurance is to provide new customers with a special offer.

With this offer, all new customers who get a quote before March 4th and then follow up and buy life cover plans from Tesco will receive a free gift card worth £50 from the supermarket insurer .

The gift card will be available with four Tesco life insurance policies and customers can spend it in any Tesco supermarket or at Tesco petrol stations .

Jeremy Sutton, head of savings and investments at Tesco, said that buying insurance to cover the eventuality that someone will die is not always an easy thing for families to do. He added: "To make the process as easy for our customers as possible, our policies are simple to understand and purchase and customers can rest assured that they and their families can get the right cover for their needs."
