LV= the protection provider has announced a new partnership to give Standard Life's customers its Income Protection Plan and whole of life 50 Plus Plan . The plans will be available to the customers of Standard Life, from 1st December 2008.
Standard Life will oversee marketing and sales activity to its British direct customer client bank, using LV= branded product literature and customers will finish the sales process with Standard Lifes direct telesales team, acting as introducers to LV=. Under the partnership, which will initially run for a period of three years, LV= will then manage all underwriting, administration and servicing of the policies.
Stuart Tragheim, director of distribution strategy and business development at LV=, said: "This partnership builds on our substantial experience in packaging life and general insurance products for the customers of other like-minded organisations."
Through its existing partnerships LV= provides life, protection and general insurance products to organisations including Nationwide Building Society, T&G, AMICUS, Help the Aged, CSMA Club and the Royal College of Midwives .
