Facial burns will now be included in insurance for third degree burns and cover for traumatic injury as part of aorta graft surgery has also been added. Further, in the event of a policyholder falling into a coma, it is no longer required to be in use of a life support system for 96 hours continually in order to be covered. Proposition director at Bright Grey, Roger Edwards, explained that it was important to to update and develop products.

Bright Grey recently unveiled a new online calculator to help advisers with protection reviews for clients. The tool will allow clients to assess how much everyday purchases add up over a month, which can then help them to decide which policy is suitable for adequate protection.
