Thu, 27 Mar 2008
IFAs are being offered an extra 10% commission by Liverpool Victoria (LV=) on its protection products if they use the insurers ‘express route’ application method.

The incentive is there to ease the advisers workload and cut down the risk of non-disclosure on protection applications says the friendly society .

By using the ‘express method’ the adviser only fills in basic details about the client online, before submitting them to LV=. The procedure then continues via the insurers UK-based-tele-interviewing team, which enables appropriate risk management information to be obtained.

Stuart Tragheim, director of intermediary strategy and business development at LV=, says: "We’re focused on supporting advisers who have more on their plate than ever before, whether through saving them valuable time or providing expert support for their clients.
