Protection provider progress from Royal Liver has updated and improved its adviser extranet site as a consequence of feedback from IFAs .
One of the improvements will be an extra question function for advisers with any query about the application. The firm says that eventually they want to advisers to have more choice and control and simpler processes. They are hoping to make further changes in August.
Aidan Dewhurst, IFA marketing manager at progress from Royal Liver, said: "These changes will make life easier for advisers writing protection business . The system improvements and the enhanced usability are designed to give advisers more control and faster turnaround times, which will result in their clients receiving their cover quicker."
Mr Dewhurst also said that progress has received positive feedback regarding its Virtual Underwriter tool, which was launched last summer. The tool allows advisers to find a suitable video answer to any protection queries they may have on the progress website. If there isnt an answer available, an email can be sent to progress to update their system.
