Financial Services > Income lnsurance > Critical Illness Cover Guide > CII & Permanent Health Insurance
Critical illness insurance is slightly different to permanent health insurance, as the latter pays a regular income in the event of long-term illness or injury.
The differences between the two types of cover means that payments under one plan would not be allowed under the other. For example, payment under a critical illness policy would most likely be granted in the event of a minor stroke, however this would not necessarily qualify for payment under a permanent health insurance policy.
